frequently asked questions

Are you free roam? I don't like kennels

No, we are not. There are several reasons for this, the foremost being your pet's safety. While the notion of your pet freely interacting with other animals may seem appealing, the reality is that not all dogs are amicable with one another, and such situations are avoidable.

Permitting dogs to mingle also elevates the risk of disease transmission.

We provide advance notification when your pet's grooming is complete, allowing you to avoid kennel stays or to schedule a continuous grooming session.

Do you pluck ears?

This question does not have a straightforward answer.

The topic remains highly debated; therefore, we recommend following the guidance of your individual veterinarian. Recent studies indicate that ear plucking is associated with an increased risk of ear infections. If you own a breed that may require ear plucking, please consult your veterinarian beforehand.

Do you work on reactive dogs?

Yes!

We usually schedule these appointments either first thing in the morning or as the last one of the day. Once the stress is low and there are no triggers around, your pet could very well be fine for grooming!

For dogs that are reactive, we book them either before or after other pets are in the salon. Feel free to reach out, and we’ll find the best time for your furry friend!

Why are there no prices for your grooms on your website?

Similar to humans, dogs exhibit significant individual differences, even within the same breed. Likewise, pet owners have diverse preferences and requirements, leading to a wide range of grooming styles. We are unable to provide an accurate quote until we have assessed your pet and fully understand your specific needs.

What exactly is 1 on 1 grooming?

Grooming salons often experience a high level of activity, with ringing phones, anxious dogs, and groomers managing a demanding schedule. This is a typical scenario during your pet’s grooming session.

We have found that concentrating on one appointment at a time significantly reduces overall stress. A less pressured groomer can dedicate more attention to understanding both the client and their pet. This approach fosters a calmer pet and a more enjoyable grooming experience, creating a tranquil environment throughout the salon.

It is genuinely a distinctive experience, and our satisfied clients wholeheartedly agree.
